Parks, Tourism, & Recreation Management

The following plans are designed for students who want to complete their Associate of Arts (AA) degree, and then move on to the University of Montana-Missoula campus (also known as the mountain campus) pursue the Parks, Tourism, & Recreation Management (PTRM) Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Note that there are three different plans; these plans vary depending on which mathematics level the students starts out in, and also if the student would prefer to take ACTG 202 at Missoula College online, or on the mountain campus face-to-face.

Students who intend to reside in the residence halls should be aware of the Outdoor Recreation Living Learning Community. Additionally, it is strongy recommended that students subscribe to the PTRM RECNET listerv.

Three Tracks: Which is Right For Me?

Parks, Tourism, & Recreation Management Track #1 is for students to place into M 115. Additionally, this version is for students who plan on taking ACTG 201 at the mountain campus and ACTG 202 at Missoula College, which is offered only during fall semesters.

Parks, Tourism, & Recreation Management Track #2 is for students to place into M 115. Additionally, this version is for students taking ACTG 101 and 102 at Missoula College in lieu of ACTG 201 at the mountain campus. ACTG 202 is offered through Missoula College during fall semesters.

Parks, Toursim & Recreation Management Track #3 is for students who place into M 090.
