Students in the Information Technology Program are required to complete an internship experience. Internships are a partnership between students from our department and industry. These provide students an exciting opportunity to utilize the skills sets obtained from their program of study. Some internship experiences include compensation to the student while others are non-paid or service-based activities.
The academic requirement to complete an internship requires a minimum of 90 hours of field experience at the internship site. All internships must be approved by the Program Director prior to initiating. Academic credit for an internship field experience does not begin until the Learning Agreement and Learning Goals are signed by the Program Director.
Past experiences do not qualify for internships.
