Cybersecurity Studies at Missoula College - Cyber defense is integrated into all courses in the Information Technology curriculum. However, students who wish to pursue in-depth knowledge of cyber defense would benefit most from the AAS degree in Information Technology with the Network Administration & Security option. This course of study provides students the skills and abilities for entry positions as system administrators and cybersecurity analysts

Students completing an AAS in Information Technology with the Network Administration & Security option are required to sit for the A+ certification exam, and have the option of sitting for the following certification exams:
Cisco CCNA Routing and Switching
Microsoft 70-687 - Configuring Windows 8.1
Microsoft 70-410 - Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 R2
Microsoft 70-411 - Administering Wndows Server 2012 R2

Cyber Competitions
Students completing an AAS in Information Technology with the Network Administration & Security option have the opportunity to compete in various cyber defense competitions, such as those listed here. Missoula College also hosts the Missoula College Cyber Triathlon, inviting high school and undergraduate students to test their skills in a one-day series of challenges.
