The Outreach Department offers renewal units for teachers (online or face-to-face) and non-credit, short-term continuing education and training with industry-recognized credentials. All continuing education and training are taught by experienced professionals at an unexpectedly low cost and prepares professionals for high demand occupations.

Education Opportunities- General

Missoula College offers personal and professional training options through Ed2Go. Through online and classroom courses and workshops, we help individuals achieve career advancement and/or personal enrichment. Topics include management, finance, leadership, marketing, computers, education and leadership.

Ed2Go enrichment topics include a vast collection of options, including photography, cooking/baking, graphic arts, creative writing, and foreign languages.

Education Opportunities- Teachers

The Outreach Department offers online and classroom opportunities approved for OPI renewal units. For welding and culinary instructors, Missoula College holds Tips for Teachers. Welding for CTE teachers two sessions of hands-on welding instruction in GMAW (MIG) and GTAW (TIG) and 16 hours of renewal credits. For culinary instructors, we offer different cooking courses, with 5 delicious days of classroom instruction and kitchen practice provided by Missoula College's renowned instructors, Chef Aimee Elliott and Chef Thomas Campbell.

Career and Technical Training


Missoula College's career and technical training programs provide students of all ages with the academic and technical skills, knowledge and training necessary to succeed in future careers and to become lifelong learners.  Questions? Contact the Outreach Department at (406) 243-7870.

Certified Nursing Assistant Training

A Certified Nursing Assistant, or CNA, is one of the most important roles in any health care facility and that is why Missoula College is proud to be partnering with The Lifelong Learning Center to offer the opportunity for students to earn a CNA certification.

Commercial Driver's License Training (CDL)

Missoula College Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training program teaches drivers wishing to refresh their skills with the basics of truck driving as well as equipment knowledge, Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations with an emphasis on safety and prepares them for a Montana Class A License.  Our training is offered through the Outreach Department of Missoula College, and we have approved for VA educational benefits and Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) training benefits.
